Planning for & reacting to life.
A boutique bilingual law firm with a desire to provide a personalized client experience.

Denise L. Adkins, Esq.
Denise L. Adkins is the founder of The Law Offices of Denise L. Adkins, P.A., and brings more than two decades of real-world business, real estate, and legal experience to her practice.
Her professional journey began in real estate in 2003, working alongside her now-husband, a licensed real estate professional. In 2005, they opened their own real estate company, at which time Denise also became licensed. By 2007, she was actively managing property for the company, gaining firsthand experience in leasing, operations, compliance, financial oversight, and the day-to-day realities faced by property owners and business operators.
Around 2009–2010, Denise made a deliberate decision to deepen her understanding of real estate beyond transactions and management. She made a personal commitment to learn every aspect of the industry—from ownership structures and contracts to taxation, liability, and long-term planning—which ultimately led her to law school. That decision marked the convergence of her business experience and her legal career.
In 2018, Denise fulfilled her long-standing goal of becoming an attorney, and in 2019 she opened The Law Offices of Denise L. Adkins, P.A. Since then, she has methodically built a practice that integrates legal strategy with the practical insight of someone who has spent decades operating real businesses. Her approach allows her to advise clients not only on what the law requires, but on how legal decisions affect operations, risk, growth, and sustainability.
The real estate company Denise co-founded continues to operate and manage property more than 20 years later, a testament to the durability of the systems, planning, and discipline she brings to her work. Today, she applies that same mindset to her law practice—building a firm grounded in best-in-class support, thoughtful systems, and long-term client relationships.
Denise is also committed to continuous education and innovation. She is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University, graduating in May 2026, and is actively involved in developing proprietary artificial intelligence tools designed to increase efficiency, reduce client costs, and enhance the quality and speed of legal analysis—without compromising professional judgment or ethical standards.
With experience in technology, website development, cybersecurity awareness, and digital best practices, Denise understands both the power and the risks of modern systems. In an increasingly complex digital landscape, she brings a practical, informed perspective that helps protect clients not only legally, but operationally.
Her goal is simple and uncompromising: to build a world-class firm that delivers thoughtful, reliable legal guidance grounded in experience, integrity, and forward-thinking solutions.
